In the auction held today, more than 2,000 photovoltaic MW and 1,000 wind MW were finally the winners, at an average price of €24.74/MWh.
More than 3,000 MW awarded in the renewable energy auction in Spain
The expectation was maximum both nationally and internationally, where more and more companies are interested in investing in the country.
Finally, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, through the General Directorate of Energy Policy and Mines, has awarded around 2,000 photovoltaic MW and 1,000 wind MW, in a bid in which relevant players such as Repsol or Cobra have finally been left out.
The average price settled at €24.74/MWh, being €24.47/MWh for photovoltaic and €25.31/MWh for wind.
However, the minimum price has reached €14.89/MWh, in a historical record that is close to that of the Portuguese auction last year, in which €11.20/MWh was reached.
