SÓLIDA Renewable Energy, a specialist in photovoltaic, thermosolar, wind, substation and HV lines projects, has been awarded a new contract that strengthens its commitment to the Chilean market.

SÓLIDA will have a technical team of experts on site who will be in charge of certifying the progress of the work and supervising compliance with the contractual milestones in terms of quality, safety, deadlines and cost.

The portfolio will be built in the next 18 months and will consist of 28 PMGDs (Small Means of Distributed Generation) of between 2 and 12 MW each.

SÓLIDA is currently participating in several projects under construction, such as the 129 MW Finis Terrae II PV plant (promoted by Enel Green Power) or the 190 MW Santa Isabel PV plant (promoted by Total), both in the Antofagasta region, in addition to various wind farms still in the development phase.

SÓLIDA is an independent company founded in 2007 with headquarters in Madrid that offers engineering and consulting services with high added value in the renewable energy sector (PV, CSP, wind, biomass) and its electrical evacuation infrastructure. It accumulates an experience of more than 50,000 MW in nearly 50 countries and has subsidiaries in Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
