Next week, SÓLIDA will be present at the fourth edition of Energyear Italy, a key event for the energy sector in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets, taking place on the 23rd and 24th of October in Milan. As a Bronze Sponsor of the congress, SÓLIDA reaffirms its commitment to the development of renewable energy in Italy, where the company has extensive experience and an ambitious growth plan for the coming years.
Italy is at a crucial moment in its energy transition, aiming to meet climate goals by 2030. Among the main challenges are integrating renewables into the grid and financing new projects. Energyear Italy will bring together over 800 industry professionals to discuss these topics and explore opportunities in emerging areas such as agrivoltaics, storage, and green hydrogen.
Giovanni Di Matteo, SÓLIDA’s Country Manager in Italy, will participate in the roundtable discussion titled “Cultivating Solar Energy: The Rise of Agrivoltaics in Italy”, which will take place on Thursday, October 24th at 3:00 p.m., following the lunch break. Agrivoltaics has gained significant momentum in the country, with more than 6,800 MW of projects processed in 2024, thanks to initiatives aimed at optimising land use by integrating solar generation and agriculture. This panel promises to be a valuable discussion space on this emerging segment.
