SÓLIDA participates in Intersolar México 2024

After attending the Brazilian edition last August, SÓLIDA is participating this week in the fifth edition of Intersolar Mexico, the flagship event for the solar industry in Latin America. The conference, held from 3rd to 5th September at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City, brings together over 400 companies from 20 countries to showcase the latest innovations in photovoltaic energy, solar thermal energy, and electrical energy storage in the country.
The Mexican renewable energy market has faced significant challenges in recent years, leading to a pause in the sector’s development. However, the renewed dynamism and emerging opportunities in the industry are once again attracting the attention of promoters, developers, and investors, who are strategically positioning themselves to ensure the development of new projects. This progress, supported by a regulatory framework more favourable to the sector, could result in a new wave of projects under construction in the medium term. Nevertheless, for this to materialise, it will be crucial to overcome challenges such as congestion at interconnection points and the shortening of administrative processing times.
