SÓLIDA participates in Solar Storage Live London 2024

This week, SÓLIDA is in London participating in Solar Storage Live London 2024, one of the most comprehensive events in the renewable sector in the UK. It will be the first time it takes place in the british capital, following its success in the Birmingham edition.

According to data from the event itself and Solar Energy UK, the UK has set a target to achieve an installed capacity of 70GW of solar energy by 2035, with an expectation of 40-50GW by 2030. However, the annual growth rate of 10.7% observed in 2023 is below the annual growth rate of 13% needed to reach this target by 2035.

It is expected that the UK’s solar industry will accelerate its annual growth with government policies supporting subsidies and incentives designed to reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels and carbon footprint while increasing the deployment of solar technologies.

Solar Storage Live London 2024 falls within this context, taking place in the heart of the British capital today and tomorrow, at the London Exhibition Centre (ExCel). It will feature a hybrid format of trade show and congress, with more than 150 exhibitors and 8,000 attendees, bringing together world-renowned experts, industry professionals, and government leaders.
