The projects, totaling 45 MW, will be built in different regions of the country.
SÓLIDA is awarded the Technical Work Inspection of 5 PMGDs in Chile
SÓLIDA has been awarded the contract to carry out the owner’s engineering services during the construction of 5 PMGD (Small Means of Distributed Generation) photovoltaic projects in Chile. The projects have a power of 9 MW each and will be located in different geographical areas of the country, such as Bío Bío or Atacama, among others.
SÓLIDA’s team in Chile will be responsible for the Technical Inspection of Works in the different PV plants, in order to ensure the correct execution of the construction in terms of compliance with local and international regulations, quality and safety standards, project requirements and execution schedule.
“In recent years, PMGD type projects in Chile have been a continuous source of new renewable capacity due to the technical-administrative advantages, as a result of their injection into distribution, added to the economic incentives derived from the stabilized price regime”, says Daniel Aguilar, SOLIDA’s Business Development Manager in the Andean country.
The proliferation of this type of projects in recent years has enabled SÓLIDA to participate in multiple PMGD portfolios throughout the country, with a team of engineers and technical inspectors specialized in monitoring this type of installations.
SÓLIDA, present in Chile since 2011, is a reference in engineering and consulting services for renewable energy projects (photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind, storage…), with more than 5 GW of accumulated experience in Chile and 120 GW internationally.
