The renewable energy sector has returned to stay. Or so their main players in the national market hope.<\/p>\n
In the last year, many of the projects have come off the paper and have moved into the construction phase. But the appetite of investors remains on the rise and this translates into rapid movements to obtain grid connection points and permitting projects for the next three years.<\/p>\n
And it is in this optimistic environment that S\u00d3LIDA has managed to consolidate its leadership position by providing engineering and consultancy services to developers both in the project development phase and in the construction and start-up phase.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning the more than 4,500 MW in requests for access to REE that have passed through the hands of S\u00d3LIDA, in addition to the nearly 40 projects for administrative authorization that the company has prepared in the last two years in communities such as Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Murcia, Comunidad Valencia, Castilla-Le\u00f3n or Asturias, among others.<\/p>\n
But without a doubt, the starship project in which the company participates is the 500 MW N\u00fa\u00f1ez de Balboa photovoltaic plant, located in Usagre (Badajoz), where S\u00d3LIDA acts as owner\u2019s engineering for Iberdrola, with a comprehensive technical assistance service that It covers the pre-construction, construction and start-up phases.<\/p>\n
The role of S\u00d3LIDA as owner\u2019s engineering and site management at the 400\/132 kV Campanario Renovables node, essential for the evacuation of future photovoltaic plants in Bonete (Albacete), is also being key. In this regard, the technical support provided during the purchase process and the negotiation of the substation transformer contract, of 780 MVA, one of the largest to be installed in Spain for this type of project, deserves special mention.<\/p>\n
In other projects such as the 35 MW Torrijos photovoltaic plant, owned by Elawan in the province of Toledo, or the 34 MW Matafongo wind farm in the Dominican Republic, S\u00d3LIDA also has a team of on-site supervisors who are in charge of controlling that the works progress with the quality, cost and deadline required by the promoter in all its facets (civil works, mechanical assembly, electrical evacuation installations…).<\/p>\n
The promoters are clear: having an independent owner\u2019s engineering reduces risks, facilitates decision-making and guarantees better control of contractors.<\/p>\n
